SUSTAINABLE AND ACCESSIBLE HEALTHCARE
Sustainable and accessible healthcare
Fostering the development of sustainable quality healthcare in Sub-Saharan Africa, we actively participate in practical medical skills transfer, particularly in the specialised medical and surgical fields, to create specialist capacity for modern, affordable disease prevention and healthcare delivery.
This is achieved by a combination of practical and theoretical seminars offered in South Africa or at the stakeholders’ facility aimed at creating practical skills and facilitating proper medical treatment and thus best practise in the region. Furthermore, we extensively use our training portal in high definition videos (using smart caching) effectively entering the theatre remotely.
We also partake and sponsor in mainstream events like SA Heart, SA spine, AIDS conferences etc and will continue to do so, and support our ongoing international trainees to stay abreast of the latest technologies. A secondary, but equally important aim is to facilitate regional centres of medical speciality excellence with the ambition of building medical capacity in Sub-Saharan Africa.
